DEAN IVORY runs just the one horse today, Wotadoll in a 2yo fillies’ 6f maiden at Kempton today (5.55pm). Robert Winston rides but the Harbour Watch filly has shown little on two starts and is the 80/1 outsider.
Of more interest is Paul Webber’s Blue Revelation in the 12.10 at Lingfield, a mile maiden for 3yos and upwards. George Baker takes the ride on this exciting Exceed And Excel gelding who made a very promising debut for Johnny Murtagh, albeit 485 days ago!
While I have no longer have direct connection with the Paul Webber yard, the horse’s debut at Naas has worked out well and he is well regarded by the Webber team. Roger Varian’s odds-on favourite, Tarseekh is the one to beat but the 2/1 Blue Revelation is expected to run a big race.
Unlike Blue Revelation who is strong in the market, Gwen Thomas’ Red Cossack has taken a very long walk in the betting for the 6.55 at Kempton, where the son of Rebellion is an 18/1 shot. Robert Winston rides and although he may not be very well handicapped, he shouldn’t be as big as 18/1 and may be worth an each-way look.
Good luck to Gwen and Red Cossack!
