Dean Ivory – rare National Hunt runner
DEAN IVORY does not have many National Hunt runners but today he send out Treble Strike in the bumper at Huntingdon, over 13.5 furlongs and due off at 3.55pm.
The 3yo son of Hat Trick ran a race full of promise when fourth, beaten just a length on his debut over course and distance last month. He is only one of two horses with experience and granted normal improvement for a run, could well feature in the shake up today.
Currently freely available at 11/1, he looks a good each-chance under jockey Paul Moloney, who rode him on his debut. Two newcomers, Guiding Stars and Scotsdale, have both been well supported may pose a serious threat.
