SOLARIO RACING’S new acquisition, a lovely yearling colt by Zebedee out of a Shamardal mare arrived at Dean Ivory’s last Friday and he’s settled in really well.
Today, I went up to see him and to take some photos for the new Solario brochure. Fresh from the sales at Tattersalls, he still remembered how to stand correctly and he behaved very well for Jack Duern who stood him up for me as I snapped away.
By the sprinter Zebedee out of a winning mare who has produced two winners at two, from two foals, including a full sister, the colt has a lovely temperament and seems very popular with the lads and lasses at Harper Lodge Farm.
