FIGHTING TEMERAIRE is Dean’s sole runner today when lining up for the opener at York, an eleven-runner mile handicap and the 3yo Invincible Spirit colt is not without a chance.
He won at Newmarket over 7f in July but raced on the wrong side at Ascot last time out. Only four pounds higher than his victory at Headquarters, there should be more to come from this lightly raced colt.
Interestingly, Frederik Tylicki rides as Robert Winston is abaord Tony Bloom’s Havana Beat in the Cesarewitch but Tylicki has had another good season and is more than capable of giving Temeraire a good ride. At a top priced 10/1, the ivory horse has an each-way chance and there has been money for him earlier today.
Dangers include Mithqaal and Weekend Offender.
