BIG GUNS AT ASCOT TO TURN CORNER?

Kadrizzi - returns to Ascot

Kadrizzi – returns to Ascot

DEAN is still searching for his first winner since 6 August when Kadrizzi obliged at Ascot.  Today the same horse runs at the same course as does Fighting Temeraire and maybe one or both of them can turn the corner for the yard.

Dean feels Kadrizzi, who runs in the 3.10, a 6f handicap may have too much weight but is hoping he’ll still run well.  At a top price of 11/1, he’s worth looking at each-way but William Haggas’ runners Ornate and Symposium both look dangers.

Fighting Temeraire has disappointed at Ascot before but Dean is still hopeful of a good run run the 4.20, a 7f handicap and at 7/1, he looks the more likely each-way option of the Ivory pair.  Godolphin’s Hornsby is favourite and looks a major player.

Robert Winston is aboard both Ivory runners and is no doubt looking forward to today’s mounts for the yard.  It is good to see him getting rides for other stgables and he rode a winner for trainer John Butler on Wednesday.
