SIRIUS PROSPECT, without a win for his last 15 starts, is as a result, now well handicapped and he is interesting at Kempton this evening in the 8.10, a mile handicap.

Now rated 95, he is eight pounds lower than his last win, which was at the Sunbury track over 7f in November 2014.  A course distance winner, he is drawn well in three of thirteen and has John Egan on board as Robert Winston is on duty at York.

The hot favourite is Willie Haggis’ Afjaan, looking to make amends for a costly failure when a heavily backed 11/8 favourite at Glorious Goodwood but at 14/1, Sirius Prospect has each-way claims if he can recapture his old form.
