Dean Ivory – horses running well
DEAN IVORY’S horses are continuing to run well and it is surely only time before the yard strikes in July.
Harper Lodge Farm had enjoyed a purple June with eight wins from forty-one runs at a strike rate of 20% and the yard is currently on 23 wins since the beginning of the year with £293,000 in prize money. However, it is still awaiting its first winner this month. Four of the last seven runners have been in the first four and they’re generally not being beaten far, so Lady Luck is sure to strike soon.
Tomorrow’s runners, Cappananty Con in the Weatherbys Super Sprint at Newbury and the Haydock runners, Sirius Prospect and Goldslinger need to improve on recent form to win but as with the British summer, the next Ivory winner should not be far away!
