KADRIZZI is one of two Dean Ivory runners today at Newmarket and the Hurricane Cat gelding is one of 20 runners in the very competitive £100k Betfred Mobile Heritage Handicap, due off at 3.45pm.

It is day one of Newmarket’s popular July Meeting and Kadrizzi, who had good form during the winter on the all-weather is looking to continue her progress on the turf.  This is just his fourth run on the grass and he has never run on ground quicker than good to soft, so today’s Good to Firm (Good in places) going is an unknown quantity.

Robert Winston rides the 40/1 shot who has many opponents to fear including Show Stealer, Taneen and Dancing Star.

Dean also saddles Rosie’s Premiere in the last at Newmarket, a nine-runner 5f handicap.  She is looking to get back on track having been a shade disappointing at Pontefract last time out.  The Showcasing filly is dropping back to 5f and Jack Duern takes the ride, claiming three pounds.  On a reasonable mark she has each-way possibilities at 10/1 in a very trappy contest but it is difficult to be confident about how she will run.
