Robert Winston – only ride of the day on Harlequin Striker
HARLEQUIN STRIKER has a good chance of following up his last time out win at Windsor when one of thirteen going to post in the 8.50 at Epsom tonight.
The 4yo son of Bahamian Bounty was having only his fourth run for Dean Ivory when winning at Windsor seventeen days ago over a mile and though he drops back to 7f, this should suit as he is a previous dual course and distance winner.
The Good to Soft going will suit and it is Robert Winston’s only ride of the day, often a tip in itself when he rides for Dean. The well supported 7/2 favourite should go close although another course and distance winner, Aqua Gardens could pose a threat along with Dr Bong.
