BOBBY VEE TO GO CLOSE FOR IVORY AND EDDERY

Charles Eddery – rides Bobby Vee at LIngfield

BOBBY VEE is one of two Dean Ivory runners today when he lines up for his second ever race, in a LIngfield 7f all-weather maiden at 7.20, under apprentice jockey Charles Eddery.

The son of Paul Eddery rides out regularly at Harper Lodge Farm and he was fourth on the 2yo chestnut daughter of Camacho at Lingfield on the turf over 6f earlier this month.  Only beaten two lengths on her debut, the extra furlong is sure to suit and she should be there or thereabouts at 3/1.

One of her rivals is Bayston Hill who was second in Roman Legion’s second race at Brighton twelve days ago and the Big Bad Bob gelding is sure to be a big danger to Bobby Vee today.

Dean also runs Tagula Night at Newmarket in the 5.20, a 6f handicap.  She is well handicapped but has not really fired this year and is a 25/1 shot today under apprentice, Jack Duern.  If she put her best foot forward, she’d have an each-way chance but one is taking a chance in backing her!
