PAUL WEBBER, who started the season off well with a Grade 3 win at Aintree courtesy of Gwafa last week, has two good chances at Kempton today.
Breath Of Blighty runs in the opener, a 2m maiden hurdle and the second favourite has a sound each-way chance at 9/2 under Liam Treadwell. Nicky Henderson’s Cultivator looks a big threat at even money.
Half an hour later at 2.30pm, Hollow Bay looks to break her duck over the lower obstacles in a 2m5f mares’ maiden hurdle. Richie McLernon rides the 6/4 shot who is second favourite behind Charlie Mann’s Maid Of Milan, who looks a big threat. It looks on paper a match between the pair.
Dean Ivory runs just the one today, Tagula Night in a 6f claimer at Windsor, 6pm. He has sound each-way claims at 4/1 although the form of the yard could be better which tempers enthusiasm. Jack Duern rides claiming three.
