BERKHAMSTED, the home of Solario Racing, was treated to a visit today by a very special racehorse owner….Her Majesty The Queen!
Her Royal Highness was making her first ever visit to the historic town of Berkhamsted to mark the 475th anniversary of the founding of Berkhamsted School and what a glorious day she chose to visit!
The warmest day of the year with temperatures in the mid-70s saw several thousand line the streets and there was a fabulous relaxed atmosphere as the crowds waved when The Queen’s Rolls Royce drove into Berkhamsted High Street.
At Royal Ascot there is a market each day on the colour of the Queen’s hat. Today, the Queen was wearing fuschia pink, so pretty in line with Solario Racing colours!
I was hoping Her Majesty might take a share in Roman Legion but apparently the Queen has enough horses in training. Can one ever have enough horses in training….?
