Third over course and distance last month, he should have come on for the run and looks to have an each-way chance under Robert Winston at 10/1 in what looks a competitive heat.
Dean has two other runners today, Spinning Rose in the 2.20 at Southwell and Eljaaddaf in the 7.40 at Chelmsford.
The former is making her handicap debut over 1m4f, has Tom Queally aboard and is an 8/1 chance. She needs to improve but has each-way credentials. At Chelmsford, Eljaaddaf also makes his handicap debut and is dropped down to 6f for the first time. Adam Kirby is an eye-catching booking and the 5yo son of Shamardal is strong in the market at 3/1.
