Sirius Prospect – steps up in trip
PAUL WEBBER and DEAN IVORY have five runners between them today at Wetherby and Chelmsford respectively.
The Master of Cropredy Lawn saddles Mr K (12.25pm), Fingers Crossed (1.25pm) and Too Much Too Soon (3.15pm) but they all look to have stiff tasks as their 66/1, 25/1 and 25/1 prices would suggest.
The Radlett handler has Stake Acclaim making his seasonal debut in the 2.10 at Chelmsford and this lightly raced sprinter is easy to back at 7/1, probably due to his bad double figure draw. However, he has plenty of ability and might be worth an each-way interest at such generous odds.
Sirius Prospect steps up to 1m2f for the first time in the 3.20 and this trip is totally new territory for him. Only seven go to post and he’s an 11/1 shot for Robert Winston who rides both Ivory horses at Chelmsford.
