SOLARIO RACING hosted it first hospitality day at a jumps meeting at Newbury for the second day of the Hennessy meeting yesterday and owners witnessed some first class jumps action.
We had two reserved tables in The Racegoers Restaurant for the entire afternoon as several owners in Cropredy Lawn Racing joined in the fun. After initial coffees and pastries, we all enjoyed a three course lunch as the champagne and wine flowed.
The Solario Racing tipster competition went right down to the wire as Solario owner, Paul Shay came with a rare late rattle to pip Karen and Richard Trueman who finished second and third respectively. Under the “winner takes all” rules, Paul finished the day a richer man than he started…and he backed a few winners.
The new Solario Racing brochure, hot off the press, was launched at the lunch and there was keen interest in the Holy Roman Emperor colt, available in 1/12th shares.
If you would like to receive a brochure and/or visit Dean Ivory’s stables for a private viewing of the colt, please call the Racing Office on 01442 877 597 or email info@solarioracing.com.
