DEAN IVORY hit the thirty winner mark this year courtesy of Fighting Temeraire in the 6f maiden at Windsor this afternoon.
The juvenile son of Invincible Spirit had been placed twice in his previous two starts and the 2/1 favourite made no mistake third time out when hacking up by two and three-quarter lengths under Robert Winston.
The 2yo was Dean’s fifth individual 2yo winner of the campaign from nine juvenile runners at a strike rate of 56% and his sixth juvenile win in all. This marks a new departure for the Radlett trainer who during the last five seasons has had 11 2yo wins including this year’s six victories.
Dean is enjoying his best ever season in terms of prize money with over £450k earned for his owners.
