TRUST ME, MADAME’S GIRL, TROPICS and LOTHARIO are the four stable runners today and all are outsiders and not particularly strongly fancied in the betting.
The first two run in the 3pm and 4pm at Lingfield on the turf and Sophie Ralston rides both, claiming 5lbs. The former has shown ability but unfortunately has a bad draw in one. Nevertheless, if he can overcome that, he wouldn’t be without an each-way chance at around 20/1 in the 7f handiocap.
Madame’s Girl is running out of the handicap in the 7 1/2 furlong handicap and is a 66/1 shot. She has shown nothing on the racecourse to date.
At Windsor, George Downing rides both horses and Tropics is a 20/1 outsider in the 5f handicap at 4.30pm. He ran well at the course two starts ago and despite not having won on the grass for over five years, he still retains ability.
Lothario is a 25/1 shot in the 1m2f handicap at 6.30pm and this three-times winner on the all-weather over a mile is stepping up in trip. The longer distance is not sure to help his cause.
