ZEBEDEE COLT WORKS WELL ON NEWMARKET GRASS GALLOPS

DEAN IVORY took six horses to Newmarket yesterday to work on the grass, including Solario Racing’s exciting Zebedee colt and the two-year-old was very impressive.

Robert Winston rode the colt in a five furlong piece of work on the Racecourse gallops with two other juveniles, one by Sir Percy, the other by Kheleyf.

The three set off together but as the gallop increased, it was the Zebedee colt who eased to the front under sympathetic handling from Winston.  There was no doubting which horse “won” the gallop!  The ground was good at Newmarket but Robert said he’d cope with even quicker ground.

This colt out of a winning Shamardal mare has done nothing but improve and with every new step he takes, he progresses.  His temperament is excellent and after the work, all he wanted to do was pick grass – an excellent sign!

The colt gets named by his owners on Friday 7th April but there are limited shares available.  If you wish to be part of a very exciting, talented colt, please call the Racing Office on 01442 877 597 to arrange a private viewing.
