SOLARIO RACING’S latest recruit, a very well-bred colt by sprinting sire Zebedee, did a piece of work upsides on Saturday and really caught the eye.
Dean Ivory had backed off him slightly a month ago as he had a runny nose, which is common at this time of year with the youngsters. However, this week end he did a proper piece of work upsides another 2yo by Big Bad Bob.
This son of a winning Shamardal mare moved very easily and pulled right away to put plenty of daylight between him and his galloping companion.
Stable lass Alex, who does him and rides him regularly, has been singing his praises for some time. On Saturday, the evidence was clear to see and gallops watchers included some new owners who have gone into the colt, which gets named on April 7th.
