STAKE ACCLAIM has the course, ground and trip in his favour today when lining up for the 1.21 at Windsor today and this well handicaped sprinter can get back on the winning trail under Callum Hutchinson.
He will appreciate the good to soft going, is drawn well in one, is 29lbs lower than for his last win and has a very solid record at Windsor. It is an apprentice race and Callum Hutchinson takes off a handy 3lbs.
While the horse’s recent record on the all-weather is poor, he not suited by the artificial surfaces and today the well-backed 3/1 shot should acquit himself better on the turf. All six of his career wins have come on the grass, two of them at Windsor, including one over course and distance.
