Eljaddaaf – runs at Chelmsford
HARPER LODGE FARM sends three horses to Chelmsford today, Eljaddaaf (12.30pm), Rock Of Redmond (3.05pm) and Laurentia (3.40pm) and all are double figure prices.
The first of the trio was in reasonably good form before racing stopped back in March and although not getting any younger, this course and distance winner would have an each-way squeak at 10/1 in the 6f handicap under Joey Haynes.
Rock Of Redmond has only had three runs and is making his handicap debut under George Downing over 7f. She too is around the 10/1 mark and would not be without a chance in a race full of handicap debutantes.
Finally, Laurentia is a big price, 25/1 in the 7f handicap and has a first-time tongue tie. Dropping down to 7f may help but she needs to show more than on previous outings to figure today. Joey Haynes rides.
