SOLARIO RACING, a member of the RSA, the Racing Syndicates Association, is now represented on its committee following today’s AGM at the British Horseracing Authority’s Headquarters.
The Racing Syndicates Association (RSA) promotes the interests of Racehorse Syndicate Managers in Great Britain. It provides a collective voice to promote and benefit Horseracing Syndicates and Clubs. Its thirty-two members include the country’s leading syndicate companies, many of whom attended today’s AGM.
Representing Solario Racing, I was elected unanimously to the committee which meets several times during the year to further the interests of syndicate owners within the industry. After the formalities of the AGM, chaired by Foxtrot’s Racing, Dan Abrahams, who heads up the RSA, there was an informal discussion about issues facing syndicates.
The RSA aims to be a major influencer among the industry’s major stakeholders such as the Racehorse Owners Association, the British Horseracing Authority and the Racehorse Trainers Association. Jon Hughes of Owners for Owners led a very positive discussion on a strategic review to be conducted by the RSA during the coming weeks.
Racing syndicates are the lifeblood of ownership and therefore it is vital that they are hold an influential and authoritative role within the industry. Solario Racing is delighted to be on board the RSA and will give its full support to the forthcoming strategic review.
In the meantime, we are thrilled with our new purchase, Don’t Look Down, the 2yo grey colt by Aussie Rules, purchased for 25,000 guineas from Sir Mark Prescott’s yard.
Many existing and prospective owners are due to come to Harper Lodge Farm in the run up to Christmas to see the new boy which is being syndicated in 12th shares. If you would like to get involved, please contact the Racing Office on 01442 877 597 or email email@example.com.
