Luke Bacon – has second ever ride in public

LUKE BACON, apprentice at Dean Ivory’s has his second ever ride in public today when aboard Fancy Flyer in a 7f handicap at Lingfield today (5.40pm).

Luke joined the yard last year and he rode Soaring Spirits at Windsor last month.  Today, he’s on the 3yo son of Archipenko who is drawn five and had a couple of decent runs at the back-end of last year.  The 7lb claim will obviously help and this is the horse’s first run since being gelded.

Fancy Flyer trades at around 20/1 and while he would have an each-way squeak, he will probably struggle to beat the likes of Pentland Cove and favourite, Revolutionise.
