I’m Running Late – well supported at Lingfield

DEAN runs two at Lingfield today, Nezar in the 2.40 and I’m Running Late in the 3.40 and it is the latter which has been well supported from double figures into 7/1.

Jack Duern has the ride on the 3yo son of Sepoy on the Apprentice Handicap over 1m4f and having won over 1m2f earlier in the year and shown promise over 1m4f at the Surrey track last time out, one can see why he’s come in for support. Top-weight What A Welcome looks a big threat.

Nezar runs in a 7f claimer an hour earlier and the way he was running on over 6f last time out, suggests this trip, over which he has won, should suit.  Drawn well in four, jockey Jack Osborn’s seven pound claim means the four-time winner has each-way claims.  The principal threat could be Letmestopyouthere.
