FLASHY FLYER BIG OUTSIDER ON HANDICAP DEBUT

FLASHY FLYER is as big as 66/1 for her handicap debut at Kempton this evening in a 7f nursery, due off at 5.30pm.

The 2yo daughter of Helmet has not shown a great deal in three novice races in the spring over five and six furlongs and consequently is lowly rated on 49.  Her last run was in a valuable sales race at Newmarket and although she was nowhere, that can be ignored, given the quality of race.

Sophie Ralston takes a handy five pounds offer her back but she is badly drawn in 12 and it would take a leap of faith to think she’s going to win today.  However, one would like to think she could show something off effectively 44 (taking into account Sophie’s five pound claim).

The winner however could well be the favourite, Bryn Du from Willie Haggas yard and the mount of champion jockey, Oisin Murphy.
