SOLARIO RACING is looking forward to exciting times ahead with trainer, Amy Murphy after it put three more horses with her yesterday.
Dancinginthewoods, Sharp Distinction and Twilight Bay were moved to Amy’s Southgate Stables yesterday to join 2yo Taritino who is already in training at Headquarters.
After nine good years with Dean Ivory at Harper Lodge Farm in Radlett, we decided it was time for a change of scene to maximise the potential of the syndicate horses.
The owners have enjoyed some good times during the last nine years, during which Solario Racing had ten horses in training with Dean. We are appreciative of the efforts Dean and the staff have put in since 2013 and wish them well for the future.
The two 3yos, Sharp Distinction and Twilight Bay and 5yo, Dancinginthewoods, arrived safely yesterday morning and were soon enjoying the Newmarket grass in one of the paddocks.
Amy will need a little time to get to know the horses who will need to adjust to different feed and a new training regime. However, they all look well, have been racing recently, so it will not be long before they’re out on the track.
They join a yard in good form both here and abroad. Southgate Stables has had 15 wins on the flat in the UK this year while the satellite yard in France has had six victories, including three for 2yo Manhattan Jungle, who heads unbeaten to Royal Ascot on Wednesday for the Group Two Queen Mary. On the Friday, the yard has Golden Mayflower entered in the Sandringham Stakes over a mile, so these are exciting times for Amy and the team.
Before the three new Solario Racing inmates hit the track, we are looking forward to Taritino making his debut for the Solario Racing (Moulton) syndicate during the coming week.
