DORS LAW is the stable’s sole runner today when she contests an apprentice race at Wolverhampton (5.50pm) over 9.5 furlongs and she needs to improve on her last run to figure.
The Lawman filly has not really convinced in two outings on Dunstall Park’s Tapeta surface, including last time out over course and distance, when beaten nearly 10 lengths. Her best form has been on turf and she may be too high in the weights on the all-weather.
She is quite solid in the market at around 7/1 but Jack Duern needs to find some improvement in her for the pair to trouble the judge. Top weight, Sir Lancelot and Dove Mountain look to have more realistic chances.
