CAPPANANTY CON is one of three Dean Ivory runners today but he is the only ride for Robert Winston at Windsor in the 4.20, a 6f handicap.
The grey’s form is better on the all-weather but he ran well in a Classified at the course earlier in the year and would have an each-way squeak if things fell right for him at 10/1 in a very competitive sprint in which they go 5/1 the field.
At Yarmouth, the stable runs Dor’s Law in the 5.10 and Blaze Of Hearts in the 5.40. The former race is over a mile, which is shorter than most of the trips the 4yo Lawman filly has been running over. With first time cheek-pieces and the very able Luke Morris aboard for the first time, she could surprise, although she’s quite weak in the market at 11/1. The drop in trip with the headgear may suit.
Finally, Blaze Of Hearts is back to Yarmouth, scene of his victory in August and back in Class 4 company over 1m1f. John Egan rides the 8/1 shot and he needs to bounce back to beat the likes of Monaadhil and Vanity Queen.
