Dean Ivory - four runners today

Dean Ivory – four runners today

FOREVER YOURS is one of four Dean Ivory runners today when he lines up for the 5.50 at Kempton and a good run is expected.

The 4yo son of Canford Cliffs has only had three runs and is today making his handicap debut off a mark of 65.  The horse has been working well and Jack Duern, Dean’s stable apprentice will be claiming three pounds in the 12-runner 7f contest.  Well drawn in three, the horse has been well supported but is currently available at 11/1 and is worth a look each-way.  The main danger is Bookmaker, who won a division of the same race last year off a 5lb higher mark.

Jack also rides Treble Strike for the yard in the 7.20, a mile and a half maiden but at 40/1, the horse looks to have it all to do.

Robert Winston is at Wolverhampton and is aboard the Harper Lodge Farm runners, Jack The Laird in the 2.30, a 5f handicap and Impressive Dream in the lucky last at 5pm, a 1 mile 1.5 furlong maiden.

The former is 4/1 second favourite and although he has the form to go close, he is not well drawn on the wide outside and tends to find one or two too good.  The latter is also not well drawn (11 of 11) but should improve for his racecourse debut at Kempton a fortnight ago and has an each-way squeak at 12/1.  However, Sea Dweller and Ms Gillard, the market leaders look to have stronger claims.
