BADENSCOTH is the stable’s only runner today, when lining up for the 3.45 at Sandown, a 0-90 1m2f handicap and he needs to transfer his good form on the all-weather to the grass if he’s to make an impact.
He’s only had five runs on the grass, including a second at Sandown in 2017 off a 7lb lower mark, so it’s difficult to say how he’ll adapt back on turf, particularly on soft going. In his favour, he did run well at Windsor on good to soft in May 2017, so hopefully, he’ll cope with today’s conditions under Robert Winston, who won on him last time out.
