BADENSCOTH MAKES TURF DEBUT

Badenscoth at the winning post

Badenscoth winning at Kempton

BADENSCOTH makes his turf debut today at Windsor in the 7.50, a mile handicap and he bids for back-to-back wins following his victory at Kempton three weeks ago.

He came from last to first that day under stable apprentice, Jack Duern, who reported that the horse was very green, so hopefully there’s more improvement to come.

Several of the 14 runners are open to improvement including the well backed favourite, Call Me Grumpy from the Roger Varian yard but at 6/1, Badenscoth has each-way claims if taking to the turf.  Jack Duern is again in the saddle, claiming three pounds.
