ANGEL’S FORM POINTS TO BIG CHANCE AT ASCOT

Angel Of The South second at Windsor

Angel Of The South (nearside) – second at Windsor

ANGEL OF THE SOUTH, beaten just a neck on her debut in a Windsor novice last month, which has worked out well, aims to go one better at Ascot tomorrow in the 6.05.

The winner, third and fourth have all won since and this Dark Angel filly, sure to improve for her run, has strong each-way claims at 6/1 in an admittedly warm race.

Dangers include newcomers Madeline and Out Of The Flames and once-raced Ziarah, who was third in a Newmarket maiden.  However, the Harper Lodge Farm runner, who cost £170,000 as a yearling, is Robert Winston’s only ride of the day and granted normal improvement from a first run, the grey should go close.
