Angel Of The South - back in handicap company

Angel Of The South – back in handicap company

ANGEL OF THE SOUTH, who was “wrong” at the weights last time out in a Conditions event is back in handicap company tonight in the 7.15 at Kempton and could run well.

One of seven runners in the 6f handicap, she is also reunited with Robert Winston, who steered her to victory on her penultimate start at Wolverhampton.  At 6/1, the Dark Angel filly looks worth a second look.  Top weight Choice Encounter and Helvetian look to be the main dangers.

Kadrizzi has been disappointing for a while now but as a result has dropped to an all-time low mark of 80.  He attempts a mile for the second time in the 8.15, the headgear has been left off and Robert Winston is back on board.  It would take a leap of faith to back him but at 20/1, he might be worth an each-way look.

Nicky Baby is the final stable runner of the night when one of twelve lining up for the lucky last, a 1m4f handicap, due off at 8.45pm.  The 4yo grey gelding ran well over 1m2f last time out at Lingfield and if he gets the longer trip, he is interesting at 12/1.  Franny Norton rides as  Robert Winston cannot do the weight.
